Up and Down With the Technology

Sunday morning (Superbowl Sunday), Triton awoke and was his normal rowdy self. Running around the living room, throwing legos and happy as could be. He hadn't ate much breakfast, but did eat a few grapes.
I was on the couch watching the Australian Open, which sucked by the way, when Sheri mentioned that something was wrong with Triton. He had tired all of the sudden, and I just figured that he hadn't had enough breakfast and was hungry. He laid down on the floor, which he never does, next to Sheri. I picked him up and Sheri noticed that his pupils were way small even though it was fairly dim in our home. His pupils wouldn't dilate, and he was beyond acting normal. He laid next to me on the couch without sleeping for roughly 20 minutes while we watched tennis. He loves watching tennis. He even clapped and made some noises here and there, but nothing in the same realm as his norm. We decided to wait out this little episode and see if he might start feeling better before taking him into the doctor. Sheri had called her sister-in-law to see if she knew of what might be wrong and we were waiting on her call. Triton decided to get up and go to his mommy who was sitting in a chair across the room. He held out for one year seven months and ten days before throwing up. Of course he had the normal baby spit up here and there, but even that was only a couple of times. I was all ready to take him into Community Care, because his normal doctor's office didn't open for another 3 hours or so. We changed his clothes, basically were ready to go when he wanted to play. I said that maybe we could wait a while longer and see if a nurse at his office would answer some questions. Of course at Community Care they just want your money, so don't ever bother to ask them a question. He only played for a bit and wanted to lay down again. He took a short nap next to me on the couch, but when he awoke his eyes still weren't dilating. I gave him a few crackers to see if that might settle his stomach, but he rejected those as well. He was acting much better though, and it was close to 1:00. We didn't call the doctor because he held down some banana. His pupils seemed to be the only concern at this point. We laid him down for a nap, at 2:00 or so, just to put him in his crib so that he wouldn't overdue himself. I think that he threw up the crackers early on because Sheri doesn't know how to sit still. She is always up cleaning or doing something. Which is fin of course, but Triton needed to take it easy. He was up with her in the kitchen area, and I think that he over did it just a bit, and thus the reason for the cracker refund. I didn't help clean up that mess because I didn't think that it would have happened had Sheri not been up and around. Triton was in his room for the better part of an hour without sleeping. I checked on him here and there to make sure he was okay and hadn't thrown up again, but I wanted him to take it easy. We allowed him to get back up, even though he hadn't slept. He was acting a lot better and his eyes seemed to be dilating a bit. He finally took a good nap, and the above picture is of him later that night. He is watching The Incredibles on my Ipod. After that second long nap, everything was back to normal. We allowed him to stay up a bit later that night because we wanted to keep and eye on him and he had been inactive all day. He was fine all day yesterday, everything was normal, he ate his normal sized meals and hopefully whatever he had has passed? Maybe it was a bad grape?
