This is my mom and Triton. This picture was taken in early October when my mom was able to visit from the Seattle area.
This last Tuesday my mom had a meeting with some doctors to determin which way was going to be the best way to erradicate this small cancerous tumor in her breast. Well, it turns out that the original idiot doctor that informed her that her lymph node biopsy was normal was incorrect on his diagnosis. It turns out that the lymph node did in fact return with cancer and therefore my mom will have to undergo chemptherapy, which she was hoping would not happen. If in fact his origal claim of the lymph node been accurate she might not have needed chemo. Now she is going to need somewhere in the range of 6 months chemo, surgery and then at least another 6 months of chemo after that! Supposedly the moron (doctor) misread the test results. I wish and think that (sorry I am not a fan of ignorance, so this doctor is going to be called many names throughout this blog) stupid doctors shouldn't be allowed to practice if they can't read test results. I do believe however that if ignorant doctors make a mistake that they should be punished for it. Now days it seems that doctor's do not really care about their patients and are just in this career for the money. The U.S. charges way too much for medical care, and then to have these overpaid idiots make so many mistakes on top of it is sad. I wish that when a doctor makes a mistake he or she should be punished. I understand that mistakes happen and nobody is perfect. However, if there was any sort of doubt in this dink's mind he shouldn't have said anything. He should have waited until the specialists looked over the test results to say anything.
Sorry to vent on such an issue, but there was also a huge mistake overlooked during my wife's surgery that just happened a month ago as well. In this case it wasn't just one idiot that made a mistake it was 3 nurses a anesthesiologist and the surgeon himself who were all ignorant. To have two incredibly large mistakes to happen to two people I know (who are never in the hospital) within a month's time is a little too coincidental! Therefor it is obvious that this ignorance can't just be happening to my family alone. It has to be happening all over the country. Thus, moronic doctors who make mistakes should have to compensate for their ignorance. They should have to take 10 probono cases per mistake, pay all costs to the patients who they hurt with their idiocracy and such mistakes should be posted somewhere in a special column in the daily newspaper for everyone to read. I can gaurantee you that no doctor would be left out and it would drop the need for medicare, because of all the probono cases that these overpaid doctor's would have to take would take care of all the people in the country. Until they either take the amount of time to make sure no mistakes happen, which should be 99% of the time and do the amount of work that should be done just from the amount of pay they get, such drastic actions should be taken.
A few years ago, I had a scar removed from my arm. I hadn't been to the doctor forever, but decided to have my heart checked out, since my father has heart issues. Well, it turns out that my heart is supposedly fine. Just before leaving I asked this moronic doctor about this thing on my arm. I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't a form of skin cancer. He recognized it as a certain type of scar that sometimes doesn't heal correctly. He then (because he wanted more money) suggested that we remove it just to make sure. I have this scar removed from my arm because Sheri really wanted me to, and a week later I end up having a staph infection. Like an idiot I go back to the same doctor? Why? I have no clue. I go back to this same doctor who claims that I attained this infection from my razor! Yeah, you just removed a small scar from my arm, you didn't steralize something properly, you gave me the infection, and it was my razor, Right! The correct actions weren't taken yet again and this staph infection ended up turning into some sort of fungal infection on top of it. He (a doctor who's office in located in our hospital) ended up needing assistance from another doctor on the floor below him. Thinking about it today, I am at least grateful this idiot wasn't too proud to ask for help, for I might not be here today hadn't he. I was stuck with this huge 6 inch diameter infection on my neck for about 3 or 4 months. You might be thinking that it might have been my razor that caused this infection if the location was on my neck right? Not the case! I asked another doctor some years later if a staph infection only appears where a surgical procedure takes place and he said no. A staph infection can metastasize anywhere in the body after a surgical procedure has gone wrong.
Almost two years ago during Sheri's pregnancy the epideral wasn't placed properly and she had pain all throughout the last 14 hours of her delivery. When is it going to stop? These are 4 things that have gone wrong, 4 issues out of 5! The only thing that has gone the way it is supposed to was my appendix removal. And this is the medical care in our country that people can't afford! How sad is it that people can't afford medical care in the first place? Because doctors and medication is too expensive? How sad is it that some people can afford medical care, but only receive second rate care? Now how sad would it be to be told that you have breast cancer, but it isn't in the lymph nodes and treatment should be minimal. How much more sad is it to be told 2 weeks later that the original idiot who informed you the cancer wasn't in the lymph nodes made a mistake and you are at least a stage 2 breast cancer patient now. You are going to need chemotherapy, you are going to lose your hair, you are going to need to have surgery, you are going to need more chemo and if everything goes perfect, you will need to be on pills at least for the next 5 years. By the way all of this will drain any money you have saved, you will probably be sick from all of the chemo and by the way if you haven't already figured it out? You are going to pay all of this money for care and doctors who are only going to give you second rate care.
My mom alerted me of this mistake that this doctor made and I expressed to her how upset I was over the issue and she was grateful? She was grateful that her stress level for the last 2 weeks was just a bit lower. She exclaimed had she known that the cancer was in her lymph nodes that she would have been way more stressed! Yeah, thank idiot doctor, the only good thing you did was save my mom a minute amount of stress for 2 weeks, bravo your ignorance did at least that! >Applause.....
